2025 Queen Sydney Sevigny
Sydney Sevigny is the 18-year-old daughter of John & Brianne Sevigny. Sydney was raised alongside her younger sister Sayier in Deer Island, Oregon. Sydney is in her Senior year at St. Helens High school where she has been active in Oregon High School Equestrian Team (OHSET) and was on the 2023 Columbia County Rodeo Court Flag Team. She has competed in multiple disciplines in individual and team events, qualifying for State and Regionals each year she has been eligible. After high school Sydney plans to attend a university to obtain her Bachelor’s in Animal Science in hopes to eventually go to veterinary school. Outside of school and horses you can find Sydney traveling to different rodeos with her friends in the summer, going to the beach, and spending time with her new puppy, Mooney. Sydney is excited at the opportunity to travel across Oregon and parts of Washington, meeting new acquaintances and representing Columbia County through the greatest sport on dirt!
2025 Princess Avery Elliot
Avery Elliot is the 15-year-old daughter of Wayde and Dana Elliott. Avery was raised alongside her older brothers Chase and Griffin in Scappoose, Oregon. Avery is a sophomore at Scappoose High School, where she is active in soccer, golf, and 4-H. After high school, Avery plans to attend Alabama university where she plans to obtain a degree in veterinary medicine and hopes to compete on the college rodeo team in barrel racing or breakaway roping! Outside of school, you can find Avery spending time with her two horses, Tucker and Peaches, traveling with her family to tropical environments, she loves to snowboard and also enjoys hunting and fishing in other free time. She is excited to get to experience many different rodeo performances and parades with her main mount Tucker! Avery is thrilled to meet new people and see where the rodeo road takes her in 2025 as she competes for the opportunity to represent Columbia County, rodeo, and the western way of life!
2025 Princess Annika Hedin
Annika Hedin is the 17-year-old daughter of Gary and Stephanie Hedin from Gaston, Oregon. A dedicated Junior at Gaston High School, Annika played a key role in launching the school’s first-ever FFA Chapter and currently serves as its Chapter President. Her passion for agriculture and animal science extends beyond the classroom. Annika is deeply involved in the equestrian world—she is an active member of her county’s horse 4-H program and serves on the Washington County 4-H Junior Advisory Board. She also competes with the Oregon High School Equestrian Team (OHSET), specializing in gaming and western performance events. This year, she is excited to take on her first market project through FFA, showing lambs. Annika shares a strong bond with her 12-year-old paint mare, Fergie, with whom she competes in western and cow events. Outside the barn, Annika is a self-taught balloon artist who loves bringing joy to children with her creations. She also enjoys babysitting, fishing, camping, and giving back to her community whenever she can.
